 “Tribute” at Town Hall, NYC

AMOEBA HOP is part of a Tribute to Teachers!

On September 6, 2007, Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul and Mary hosted a musical tribute to the American Federation of Teachers. The performance took place at New York’s Town Hall Theater in front of an appreciative audience of educators.
Christine Lavin and Betsy Franco Feeney, creators of the book AMOEBA HOP, were invited to perform along with musical legend Judy Collins, Sesame Street’s Elmo and many other special guests. Rosie O’Donnell and Cynthia Nixon were just two individuals who shared their memories of favorite teachers who inspired them.
Stay tuned for information on the release of a DVD of this special event!
